From January 1, 2004, all businesses engaged in commercial activities must comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and the Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, which it incorporates. These obligations extend to all businesses, including CODE. The Act gives you rights concerning the privacy of your personal information.
As a User of ontariosummerlearning.org, you have expectations that the information collected and stored in our databases will be protected and used only as you have allowed. As a collector of personal information: CODE respects the expectations of Users regarding the use, storage and dissemination of personal information.
CODE will not use your personal information for any uses other than for the use for which it was collected. A User can request to review his or her data currently held in the database.
